About Cybersecurity Seminars
The program aims at strengthening the impact of the Master in Cybersecurity and Cyber Defense, by establishing cybersecurity laboratories and workshops at the University of Luxembourg. Open to bachelor, master, and PhD students, and to underrepresented realities, the program will equip them with skills for careers in cybersecurity.
Activities include hands-on learning, interdisciplinary seminars, hackathons, and visits to cybersecurity centers.
Students will gain practical experience through internships and projects with local organizations (LCOs), such as SMEs, public agencies, and non-profits. Partnerships with the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity and other educational hubs will support the program’s outreach and impact.
The program emphasizes diversity, recruiting students from various faculties, guided by a dedicated Diversity Officer. Each participant will receive 130+ hours of training across university campuses, with access to advanced labs and equipment. Regular assessments will track student progress and LCO satisfaction, aiming to bolster Luxembourg’s cybersecurity sector.
University of Luxembourg will also closely collaborate with the e European Cyber Conflict Research Incubator CIC (ECCRI CIC) to gauge the program’s effectiveness and sustain its impact through 2025-2027.
